The Games Ark is committed to using cookies responsibly and giving you meaningful control over optional cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use cookies and browser storage
We only use cookies and browser storage that are needed to run the website securely, keep it working reliably, or provide a feature you have chosen to use, such as signing in or trying the demo.
We do not use analytics, advertising, social media tracking or behavioural tracking cookies. Our website fonts are served from our own website, so loading a page does not send requests to Google Fonts.
If we introduce any optional technology in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before using it where consent is required.

4. Services that receive information
- Hosting and security (Cloudflare, through our hosting platform Lovable): receives your IP address, browser details and the two cookies above whenever you load a page.
- Backend, database and sign-in (Lovable Cloud): receives your account details and sign-in token when you create an account, sign in or use signed-in features.
- Google: only if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in. Google then handles that sign-in under its own terms.
5. Why we do not show a cookie banner
Each item listed above is used either to keep the website secure and working, or to provide something you have asked for (staying signed in, or keeping your demo changes while you use the demo). We consider these to be strictly necessary, so we do not currently ask for consent or show a cookie banner. We review this whenever we add new technologies.
6. Your choices
- Signing out deletes the sign-in item from your browser and ends the session.
- Closing the browser tab deletes the demo and scroll-position items.
- “Reset demo data” in the demo settings restores the demo to its starting example data and removes the saved demo state.
- You can also delete or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings, as described below.
7. Managing cookies through your browser
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Depending on your browser, you may be able to:
- Delete existing cookies
- Block cookies
- Block third-party cookies
- Allow cookies
- Delete cookies when you close your browser
Blocking or deleting certain cookies may affect how parts of the website function.
8. Cookies and personal information
Some cookies and similar technologies may process information that can be associated with an individual or device.
Where this involves personal information, the processing may also be subject to applicable UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
